In
1987 The Westminster Collection identity was
formed by Harry's son, Stephen, to spearhead
our direct marketing activities.
Recognising
many similarities between the stamp and coin
industries in 1992 Westminster entered the
coin business and became a distributor for the
U.S. Mint shortly after. Today,
Westminster is a major player in the
collectables field. Along with stamps
and coins, Westminster also retails other
collectables , including die-cast models,
porcelain dolls and resin figurines.
Westminster
runs a continuous name acquisition
campaign. Advertisements are run in the
mass market national media to bring a constant
stream of new collectors on to our list.
The core of Westminster's business is the
large volume of collectors who subscribe to
one or more of numerous thematic collections
compiled around subjects such as trains,
wildlife, the Royal Family and others. |
